4perf Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026

4perf is a camera app. It is built so that your photos and settings stay on your iPhone. This policy explains what that means in practice.

The short version

What the app uses on your iPhone

Camera. 4perf uses the camera to show the viewfinder and take photos. iOS asks for your permission the first time.

Photos (add only). When you save or export a photo, 4perf adds it to your Photos library. It asks for permission to add photos only. It cannot see or read the rest of your library.

Files you choose. If you import a look (.cube or look file) or export a RAW file, a look or a backup, 4perf works only with the file you pick, through the standard iOS file picker or share sheet.

Storage on your iPhone. Your roll, your looks and your settings are kept in 4perf's own storage on your iPhone. They are removed if you delete the app. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or a computer, this storage is included in that backup under Apple's terms, not ours.

What 4perf does not do

Sharing

When you use the share sheet to send a photo, RAW file or look to another app or person, that is handled by iOS and the app you choose. Their privacy terms apply from that point.

TestFlight and the App Store

If you use a beta of 4perf through TestFlight, or download 4perf from the App Store, Apple may collect information such as crash reports, device type and feedback you choose to send. That is governed by Apple's privacy policy. If you send feedback through TestFlight, we see what you send.

Children

4perf does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Because 4perf collects nothing, any change that would collect data would be announced in the app first.
